To be honest, I didn’t start this blog just to write about mountains. I started it because something about Nepal grabs you and never lets go. Maybe it’s the way the prayer flags flutter against a deep blue sky, or how a stranger offers you tea and suddenly becomes a friend. Maybe it's the quiet peace you feel on a trail where the only sound is your breath and the crunch of your boots.
Mountmandu is my attempt to capture that feeling — and share it with you.
Here, you won’t just find “Top 10 things to do.” You’ll find real stories. Honest travel tips. Places that aren’t even on the map. And maybe even a laugh or two when things don’t go exactly as planned (because let’s face it — they rarely do!).
This blog is for the curious souls, the mountain dreamers, the cultural explorers — and for anyone who believes that travel isn’t just about where you go, but what you feel along the way.
So, whether you’re planning your first trip to Nepal or you’ve been here before and left a piece of your heart behind, I hope you find something here that speaks to you.
See you on the trail,
— Roshan, Founder of Mountmandu
